#FF0001 – Welcome to the Festive Friday Challenge!

Welcome to the first ever Festive Friday Challenge- where every challenge is a party!

We host challenges on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, and go for 11 days. Play along with our challenges and earn points to choose prizes!  More details below.  Our Design Team includes Nicole Watt, Ann Schach, and Beth McCullough.  Our first challenge is Valentine’s Day and/or Sequins. 

Festive Friday Challenge Rules

  1. Create a new project. You can create any project and use any elements/supplies as long as it fits within the challenge holiday, element, or both. In other words, you can create with just the holiday in mind, you can create with just the featured element, or you can create with both!
  2. You may enter up to a maximum of 3 times as long as the creations are new.
  3. If you have a blog, you should include the challenge badge or the challenge board in your post and link back to our challenge.
  4. If you are posting in a gallery (like SplitCoast, Pinterest, or any other social media platform), make sure you mention our challenge with a link back to the challenge and use the hashtag #festivefridaychallenge and the hashtag found on the challenge (eg: #ff001)
  5. Your submission link should be a direct link to your project post, not a general link to your blog, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest or other gallery account.  Incorrect links are not eligible for Festive Friday Faves, and may be deleted.
  6. We want to leave you comments, but if you are linking your project to a closed group or a site that requires us to register, we may not be able to! Please be sure to post on an open forum so we can leave comments on your wonderful cards. No CAPTCHAs please! Please remember to turn off word verification.
  7. Challenges start on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, and go for 11 days.
  8. All submissions are due Monday (day 11 of the challenge) at 8PM US Central time – that’s when the Linky Tool will close. Winners will be announced the following Wednesday. 
  9. Post your project using the Linky Tool, which can be found below the current challenge.

To earn Fest Points (redeemable in our Shop), you must have an account. We’ll make sure you get all the points you’ve earned for each challenge. Learn more about the Fest Points Program here.

Festive Friday Starts This Friday!

We’re so excited to be bringing this new, and innovative papercrafting challenge to you!

What is the Festive Friday Challenge?

Every 2nd and 4th Friday, we’ll bring you a new challenge, with two elements.

The first element is always a festivity or holiday. Oh, and they’re not just your typical holidays…. can you say “National Panda Day” or “Ice Cream Day”?! 

The second element is something design related – like ribbon, sequins, glitter, stars, etc…

You have the choice to use both elements, or just one. Confused? Here’s an example:

Birthday and/or Balloons

You could create a design with a birthday sentiment and balloons, or a design with just a birthday sentiment, or a design with just balloons. Got it? Great!

What makes Festive Friday Different?

We thought that we’d give you extra incentive to play along each challenge — how about FREE STUFF?!

For each challenge you play you’ll receive a FEST POINT. You can enter up to three times per challenge, so that’s a max of 3 Fest Points per challenge.

Each time you’re recognized by the design team as a Festive Friday Faves you will receive FIVE FEST POINTS.

Redeem Fest Points in our online store for PDF tutorials, the opportunity to be a Guest Designer, one of our original cards, and more!
